Local Council Honoring Jeff Horn

The Riverdale Jewish Community Relations Council is honoring Jeff Horn, Ph.D., professor and chair of the history department and director of the Holocaust Resource Center at Manhattan College, on April 3 at the 27th Annual Legislative Awards and Breakfast with the Martin Rollins Interfaith Brotherhood Award. The event is held annually to celebrate those who have made a difference in Riverdale and around the world.

In addition to Horn, Jonathan Mark will accept the Michael Schreck Community Builder Award on behalf of The Jewish Week; Todd Rubinstein of the Congregation Shaarei Shalom will receive the Andrew Zucker Jewish Community Service Award; and the Community Organizational Award will go to Teens in Action of the Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel of Riverdale (CSAIR) and the Riverdale YM-YWHA.
