Manhattan to Host Spuyten Duyvil Undergraduate Mathematics Conference on April 2On Saturday, April 2, the sixth annual Spuyten Duyvil undergraduate mathematics conference, funded by a grant from the MAA-NSF, will take place on the College’s campus. The full-day conference runs from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and features presentations by undergraduate students and faculty in mathematics and related disciplines.

Manhattan Celebrates Black History Month With Spotlight on EntertainmentLast month, the Diversity Committee at Manhattan organized an afternoon of entertainment, music and trivia for the local community in honor of Black History Month. The featured list of entertainers included: Frank Owens, pianist and historian; Harold Cromer, actor, dancer and historian; Fred Stanton, saxophonist; Mabel Lee, singer and dancer; Cobi Narita, jazz promoter; and a few other surprise guests.
