The annual Mentor Dinner was held on Feb. 3 in Smith Auditorium, and the guest speaker was Sharon Greenberger, chief operating officer of the New York City Department of Education.  Philip Castellano ’65, retired vice president/engineering manager of AECOM Technology Corporation, and Frank Lombardi, retired chief engineer of the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey, were honored with the first distinguished mentor awards from Brennan O’Donnell, Ph.D., president of Manhattan College.

“Both of these men have generously given of their time, talents and energy for many years to the Mentor Program,” said Br. Charles Barbush F.S.C., program coordinator of the Center for Career Development’s Mentor Program and the Lasallian Scholars Program.
