Manhattan College Off Broadway

An original musical retelling of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, written by Liz Muller, Collin Simon and Juan Cardenas ’07 premiered on Jan. 19, 2011, at Theatre 80 St. Marks in New York City and features a cast that is largely comprised of Manhattan College alumni and current students.

Manhattan vs. Siena Basketball Game

Join Manhattan College in Albany, N.Y., on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, for our annual gathering and experience the excitement of Jaspers basketball against the notorious Siena Saints at the Albany Times Union Center. Dinner this year will be held at 5:00 p.m. at Broadway Joe’s at 51 South Pearl Street in Albany and tip-off is at 7:00 p.m.

Jaspers of Georgia 20th Annual Luncheon

Bob Fink ‘57 will host Atlanta-area Jaspers in their annual brunch with special guest Brother James Wallace, F.S.C., vice president for mission at Manhattan College, on Sunday, Feb. 27 at Cherokee Country Club (address: 665 Hightower Trail, Atlanta, Ga). The reception begins at 12:30 p.m. and the luncheon starts at 1:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per person.

Jasper Open Golf Tournament

Please join Manhattan College for the 23rd annual Jasper Open, which will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Scarborough, N.Y. The day includes golf, brunch, cocktails and a wonderful reception. Proceeds directly support student athletes at Manhattan College and we welcome alumni sponsorship of this great event. Jaspers Who Have Celebrated 50 Years Since Graduation – We Need You!

Manhattan alumnus Jim Brown ’58 is looking to start a Jasper alumni group for alumni that have celebrated 50 years since graduation or more. This group could meet at the annual alumni reunion on campus and have additional events throughout the year.
